Sal Curioso, a Spanish and Latino-inspired restaurant in Hong Kong. Centered around the fictional character Sal, an inventor and genius, the concept positioned the restaurant as both a dining destination and a workshop for culinary innovations.

During the concept phase, Sal’s personality, story, and background were carefully crafted to bring the character to life. The design process delved into Sal's mind, embodying his inventive spirit to create a series of unique culinary devices. These included the Duck Bobber, Caulitail Steamer, Guacaloco, and Squid Pop—each representing a breakthrough in Sal's strange yet brilliant approach to cooking.

Each culinary invention was accompanied by Sal’s personal annotations and schematics, offering insight into his creative process. These detailed drawings and documents were integrated into the restaurant’s branding, appearing on menus, coasters, and business cards as patents, inviting guests to step into Sal's inventive world.
